Eastenders Billie, Thinks He "Could Be Next" In Axeing!

EastEnders star Devon Anderson fears that he could be axed from the soap, a report has claimed.

The actor, who plays Walford's Billie Jackson, is said to be in hot water with bosses after allegedly advertising clothes in a Twitter picture - a violation of strict BBC rules.

According to reports, the alleged breach led to Anderson being banned from attending Saturday night's British Soap Awards ceremony at the last minute.

In recent weeks,
EastEnders has announced a number of cast departures as new executive producer Bryan Kirkwood makes his mark on the show.

Anderson was previously
dropped from Hollyoaks under Kirkwood's reign at the Channel 4 soap. His exit came in 2007 amid rumours that he had caused problems on set due to poor time-keeping.

Speaking of the actor's rumoured concern, a source told the
Daily Star: "Now Bryan has his feet under the table he's already axed a number of characters and Devon fears he could be next."

Meanwhile, responding to the British Soap Award rumours, an
EastEnders spokeswoman confirmed: "Devon was due to attend the event on Saturday but the invitation was withdrawn. It's a private matter."
