Stacey Chats....

Stacey Slater Has Spoke EXCLUSIVELY To US About Her Eastenders Charactor But What Did She Have To Say?

Actress Lacey Turner has revealed how the only thing keeping her alter-ego Stacey Branning going after her husband Bradley died earlier this year is her unborn baby; and that the market-stall trader has nothing other than the arrival of her first child to look forward to in her life since she was tragically widowed on her wedding day.

Lacey said: "She’ll put everything into being a mum. The baby’s given her a reason to live now that Bradley’s gone."

However, when bi-polar sufferer Stacey feels a "twinge" she fears the worst and worries she is losing the baby.

Lacey told US
: "She feels a twinge when she’s at the market stall. Jean panics and that scares Stacey who’s terrified the baby is going to be born too soon - it’s not due till late June.”

Luckily for Stacey the twinge turns out to be a false alarm. The first time Mum hasn’t been to any antenatal classes so she doesn’t know what to expect from a pregnancy.

Lacey also hinted at what could be in store for the birth scenes when they finally arrive: "Jean is supposed to be her birthing partner, and you can imagine how that would be, can’t you! But it might not turn out like that." Could the baby’s real father Ryan help the young Mum in her hour of need? Or will sinister and jealous pal Becca hatch a plan to get herself even more involved in Stacey’s life by deliberately manipulating the situation so Jean can’t be there?
