Minty: My Child..

Cliff Parisi, better known to television viewers as EastEndersmechanic Minty Peterson, has been telling OK! Magazine about the birth of his son, Arthur, last Christmas.


While the nation was gripped by the drama of Archie Mitchell’s murder on screen, Parisi had his own off-screen dramas to contend when fiancée Tanya Wyer went into labour with their first child.

‘I helped to pull the baby’s head out and I cut the cord,’ he told the magazine, ‘Tanya was asleep for most of it, then I looked down and there was the baby’s head! We even missed the EastEnders Christmas special!’

The proud parents welcomed their new son on the 28th of December last year, and he is quite a hit with his father’s castmates on set. ‘Uncle Perry Fenwick has spent a fortune on him,’ Cliff reveals. ‘He’s got West Ham everything!’
